Garden Of Eden is my first solo exhibition within the RSPB Geltsdale visitor centre during the winter to spring transition of 2019.
The work is an exploration of the relationship between ancient worship and nature, inspired by Britain’s long and rich sacred history steeped by our wild surroundings.
I worked across various mediums to create my own rustic psychedelic trip via abstraction, symbolism and foliage.
I am particularly proud of this exhibition as all of the preparation and creation of work was done whilst I had a broken leg. This limited my ability to go big in size and scale - I hope to be able to go bigger and more immersive with future exhibitions.
