W A V I N G F L A G
I led this 2 week project as part of the amazing MEDS workshop, of which I had been a participant of the previous two years, working alongside a fantastic group of design and architecture students from many various countries across the world.
The final product was a large scale flag inspired by Gent`s urban haven created through a variety of image making and print production.
Each element of the flag represents an aspect of what we have experienced as a group; the crane showing the industrial history and strength of people; the circle being the re-use, re-cycle culture; the vegetable depicts representing local sourcing and the bridge represents the connection between people through community.
This was an amazing experience to be able to work on such a huge scale project as well as enjoy being in Gent!
